Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior at the end of the fight through knees to the body. Antonina accepted the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC in the TUF Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious by unanimous decision, but she was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko had a win in her first three bouts, but lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
